Since I have no actual money to speak of, I am more or less blue-skying this. So, since the accumulated body of guitar knowledge here adds up to about 9000 years, I thought I would throw the question out - what is a reasonable price, in good shape (my question mark key is not working). I found listing for some new ones, but none for used ones that had prices. What I have not found, looking around the net, is much idea of what kind of used prices people are paying for the FA2. The seller has the guitar and amp listed as a package, but as I have an amp I could re-sell the Marshall rehearsal amp, probably at a reasonable price, and recover some of the overall cost. But I have yet to see the Tele clone, and I am curious. My past experience with Bennett guitars has been good - fit and finish has been excellent, and nice players. The tops appear to be quilted and possibly bookmatched, under the transparent red. Like the Malibu, the pickups are `Duncan Designed`.
#Singiture series samick guitar worth series
The Formula series is Greg Bennett`s take on the Telecaster, and the FA2 the high-end of that line, with two lipstick pickups at the neck and mid, and a bridge humbucker. Now oddly, this is the second Bennett Formula I have seen advertized in recent days, in two different towns.
I came across an interesting listing today - a Greg Bennett Formula FA2 with a 45 watt Marshall rehearsal or practice amp (do not know the model - 45 watts may be peak power, or optimistic).
Since I am pretty immobile, I have been checking out small-town classified ads for guitars, for the sake of interest. Well, I`m back to generally make a nuisance of myself until it`s time to go back to the hospital.
